The module Z109S-DI is a power supply unit with galvanic isolator for the current loop. It converts an input signal into a current in the range 0/4..20mA and makes the measure and retransmission of the signal into an isolated analog output in the range 0/4 - 20 mA. The module can supply a 2-wire sensor with 20 V stabilized voltage and 20 mA maximum current short-circuit protected. The 3-way galvanic isolation reaches 3,500 Vac equivalent to 6.4 kV pulse voltage. Z109S-DI is very useful in energy sector applications.
